Planning an October wedding can be very stressful for some brides. In Ohio, you simply have no idea what the weather is going to do from one day to the next. It could be 75 degrees and sunny, or 35 and sunny. It’s such a toss-up. Caitlin and Daniel knew this when they decided they wanted to get hitched on October 20th. They looked and book their venue based on being able to hold their ceremony inside. Caitlin was realistic with her expectations of Ohio weather in October. She found a venue that met all her needs in Chenoweth Golf Course.
It rained on and off on Saturday. At one point, it was evening hailing. And at other points, you would have thought we were on the edge of a hurricane with the crazy winds we stood our ground with. Anything for pretty photos, I tell ya! Daniel and I stepped outside to get ready for the first look, and two minutes later, it was raining sideways. Three minutes after that, Caitlin was saying Daniel’s name, outside, for their first look. It was an odd day for the weather, but the sun came out when we needed it to, and the wind blew Caitlin’s beautiful gown at just the right moments.
A gown with sleeves, and a flowly simple train. This dress was made for Caitlin. And the classic black bridesmaid dresses complimented Caitlin’s gown beautifully. Touches of gold in the details, black tuxes for Daniel and his groomsmen, some Frank for the first dance and the father dance. Not a single detail was overlooked for this classic black tie affair!
Thank you, Caitlin and Daniel, for a wonderful day on Saturday! Jamie and I loved spending the day with you two, your family, and your friends!
