Have you ever met someone and just instantly clicked with them?
Like your long lost best friend just walked into your house and you immediately pick up, right where you left off?
I 150% had that connection with Emma the first time I met her and her mom! It always amazes me that when I put out there, either on my website, Instagram, or Facebook, exactly who I am, my absolute ideal brides find me!
Emma is a teacher that works with high-risk students. I know the exact trials she goes through day to day, but I also know the reward she feels in her heart when one of her students accomplishes a goal that was set! Being a teacher is a thankless job, one that isn’t for the faint of heart – especially when you’re working with high-risk kids. This was probably one of the first clues Emma gave me that I knew we would hit it off.
This past weekend, I was able to spend some time with Emma and her sweet fiance, Rett! We spent the whole engagement session laughing. I got back into my Jeep with my cheeks hurting and my heart full!
I’m a bit sad (okay – a lot sad) that Emma and Rett live south of Columbus! I’m hoping these next couple of months go by quickly so when their wedding comes around, I’ll get to hang out with them again! I know Brookside Farms in Louisville is going to be the perfect place for these two to get hitch!
Rett and Emma, thanks for hanging out with me on Saturday at one of my favorite places – Petros Park! I hope you had just as much fun as I did, but I’m pretty confident you did! I’ll see you in April!! xoxo
