Hey there, I’m Loren! On most days you can find me curled up in yoga pants with my favorite yellow blanket, rocking my beautiful little girl, Charlotte, surrounded by our protectors (who are always by our side!) and watching one of my favorite binge-worthy TV shows. I’m one of those mesquite barbecue chip lovin’, ketchup on everything, always drinking way too much sweet tea kind of girls; a lot of the time, it grosses my husband out! The things I’m most passionate about in life include loving my husband the best way I know how – through his stomach, being the best momma I can to Charlotte, and continuing my education to be better tomorrow than I am today.
I am lucky enough to capture the most precious moments on a wedding day: the tear that quietly traces Mom’s cheek as she laces her baby girl up in the wedding dress she helped her pull off the rack, the look of amazement on the groom’s face as he sees his beautiful bride for the first time, and the joyous smile on an LJ Bride’s face after the first kiss. As a wedding photographer, I’ve been honored to photograph over a 100 uniquely different love stories.
When I’m not busy being a bosslady, you can catch me traveling to new places and photographing new landscapes, listening to business podcasts, or cuddled up on the couch with Joshua, Charlotte, our fur-babies, and a glass of sweet tea – my favorite place to be.
THIS GIRL CAN DEMOLISH A GALLON OF SWEET TEA IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. PEOPLE REACH FOR A BEER OR GLASS OF WINE AFTER A LONG DAY, I POUR MYSELF A GLASS OF SWEET TEA. IT'S MY KRYPTONITE.
MAYBE IT'S THE YELLOW, MAYBE IT'S THE FACT THAT SUNFLOWERS ARE A SUMMER/FALL FLOWER AND THOSE ARE MY TWO FAVORITE SEASONS. OR MAYBE IT'S THE FACT THAT IT'S WHAT MY MOM ALWAYS PLANTED IN THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE, BUT SUNFLOWERS MAKE MY HEART HAPPY
I'M IN MY MID TWENTIES AND THIS SWEET TREAT IS ALWAYS IN MY CART WHEN I GO GROCERY SHOPPING, OR IN MY HANDS WHEN I WALK OUT OF A GAS STATION. RARELY DO I SHARE WITH MY EXTRA SWEET HUSBAND WHEN IT COMES TO MY M&MS
THERE'S NO BETTER WAY TO BE GREETED AT THE DOOR THEN WITH WAGGING TAILS AND DOGGY KISSES. EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE A BAD DAY, A KISS FROM MY FUR-KIDS MAKES IT ALL BETTER
MY LOVE LANGUAGE IS QUALITY TIME, SO DATE NIGHTS FOR ME ARE CRUCIAL TO KEEPING A HAPPY WIFE AROUND THE HOUSE. AND MY SWEET HUSBAND NEVER DISAPPOINTS!
OUTGOING INTROVERT - THAT'S ME TO THE CORE. WHILE ENJOY THE PARTY, THIS GIRL LOVES NOTHING MORE THEN A QUIET NIGHT AT HOME. IT'S WHEN I GET THE MOST WORK DONE AND ROCKING OUT THESE DREAMS

Meet my Family - Joshua, Charlotte, Canon, Turbo and Diesel. Our house is filled with laughs, lots of kisses - both soft and sloppy, diaper changes, barks, and lots of dog hair, thanks to the two furball Huskies - our two oldest children. Turbo and Diesel are named after their daddy's truck, while Canon - well I'm sure you can imagine what she's named after - my CAMERA! These three love their popcorn, frosty pals ice-cream, and plenty of snuggles. While we have a king size bed, we humans have about a 2x3 space to sleep!
Our first (human) born, Charlotte, arrived on December 1st, 2017 and forever changed our world. We're in love with our sassy girl (she might have gotten that from her momma). At the age of 16, I knew if I ever had a daughter, I'd name her after my maternal grandmother. Thankfully God didn't make me wait for a beautiful little girl!
Joshua is my biggest fan, and always encourages me to follow my dreams and make them happen. I don't know where I'd be without his continued support! I am truly the lucky one in this marriage.
We started dating April of my senior year of high school (2008!!), and five and a half years later, he asked me to be his wife. Eight months and one day later, I'd walk down the aisle and promise forever to the man who promised to take care of me till death do us part. Because of Josh's hard work, I was able to quit my full-time teaching job and pursue photography full-time. Which now as led me to be a work at home mom, and raise Charlotte!
Ready for cliche? My photography story starts off a lot like many others. I grew up with a cheap point and shoot in my hand, always admiring pretty photos, and in 2010 I bought my first DSLR. Shortly after I shot my first wedding knowing absolutely nothing about wedding photography and some how I didn't ruin my friends wedding day. But in the midst of it all, I found something that I loved, something I was passionate about. With a lot of hard work, late nights, and many days of self-doubt, I realized the importance and responsibility of being a wedding photographer. I shoot weddings for Brides and Grooms to forever have their wedding day memories. Their photos are timeless and perfectly tell their love stories in a way that their children will admire their parent's marriage and strive for one just like it.
