Four years ago on July 12th, Whitney was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding, and Cory attended the same wedding as a guest. Both were supposed to bring dates to this wedding, both ended up going stag instead. With a gentle shove from friends, and maybe even some liquid courage, these two ended up on the dance floor together. That’s all it took. Just one song. One slow song at one wedding has led us here together – Cory and Whitney’s own wedding photos.
After Cory proposed, Whitney emailed me right away. You see, I photographed the wedding that these two met at, and another wedding a year later that Whitney was also in. To receive her email was a true honor!! She knew first hand the experience my LJ Brides receive. I’m still thanking my lucky stars that I was the one to photograph Whitney in her wedding gown!
With a big family and a lot of friends, Cory and Whitney needed a venue to hold all the people they loved in one place. Their luck would have it that a brand new venue in the heart of Amish Country was being built, with a grand opening set for early 2018! That venue was The Encore Hall in Berlin – just east of Millersburg by about 10 minutes. Give or take how many tourists and buggies you get behind!
The Hall is attached to a hotel so guests were able to turn a Wedding into a mini getaway. After all, I’m sure after all the fun that was had on the dance floor Saturday night, no one wanted to drive home anyways.
Whitney’s been apart of a lot of weddings in the past, but I think it’s safe to say her favorite dress she’s ever worn on a wedding day was the one she stepped into on Saturday. She was the definition of a blushing bride from start to finish. Her smile only beamed brighter when she stood beside Cory.
Congratulations, Fowler’s!! It was a perfect day! One that I’m so thankful to be a part of!!
Whitney asked if she could squeeze Cory’s butt instead of tapping him on the shoulder or saying his name. I, of course, said YES!
The donkey wanted in on the pictures, too!
Remember Cory and Whitney’s Engagement Photos from last fall?? The Scout, of course, made an appearance for the wedding!!
Whitney and her daddy started off with a slow dance then busted out the moves to several different iconic dance songs! The crowd LOVED it!!
58 Years of Marriage for this couple. How AWESOME is that?!
Whitney Iced Cory, and he clearly wasn’t ready for it!
