Kent State University Engagement Photos
Sometimes, love needs a second chance. And that’s exactly Kelsey and Joe’s story. They dated in high school, both Perry High School Graduates, but it wasn’t until college that these two reconnected, finding that magical spark in their relationship. Another Kent State Alum couple, that I have the wonderful pleasure to walk their wedding planning journey with!
These two enjoyed all that college had to offer with each other by their side. Kelsey cooked Plenty of home-cooked dinners for Joe and his roommates, they spent, even more, nights eating out in downtown Kent. If you’re a Kent Alum, I’m sure you can guess their favorite place! Ray’s! Every chance they have, Joe and Kelsey will eat dinner at their favorite college hang out, ordering the same thing off the menu every time!
This past summer, while traveling in Italy, Joe asked Kelsey to be his wife. The evening was filled with more walking than Kelsey had prepared for, and a couple of hangry moments, but after having some of the best pizza on their entire trip, Joe found the perfect spot overlooking the ocean to ask Kelsey one of the most important questions he will ever ask her.
It only seemed fitting that the three of us would meet up in Kent for their engagement photos! We started off right across the street from Ray’s at the old Train station. These happen to be some of my favorites from their Kent State University engagement photos! Kelsey has the best laugh, and it really came to life those first 20 minutes!
After the train station, we made our way down to the park before heading over to campus! I love when my couples choose a location that has sentimental value to their relationship for engagement photos! They love to tell stories about their time spent at that location and the memories that were made! This certainly was true for Kelsey and Joey!
