Navy and Maroon Late Summer Wedding at Rivercrest Farms in Dover, Ohio
Arm holding tightly to her dad’s, McKayla walked down the aisle on Saturday at Queen of Heaven Parish. At the end, Tom, beaming from ear to ear. I knew the moment that Tom caught a glimpse of his Bride. He went from a little tense in the shoulders and straight face, to relaxed and a gigantic smile across his face.
Joyful tears quietly traced McKayla’s cheeks. Tom shook his new Father-in-law’s hand and took his soon-to-be wife’s hand. They stood in front of 200 of their friends and family Saturday afternoon promising to love one another till death due they part.
After the beautiful ceremony at Queen of Heaven, the members of the bridal party loaded on a party bus and headed south to Rivercrest Farms for the big celebration. The evening was filled with photos, laughter, and the beautiful fellowship of loved ones. What an absolute joy it was for me, as a wedding photographer walking through the season of COVID, to see some normalcy happening in front of my eyes!
Congratulations, Tom and McKayla! Here’s to decades of a beautiful marriage, and maybe even twin sons for Tom!
