Petros Park Fall Engagement Photos
One of the BIGGEST compliments anyone can receive in the wedding industry is to have a couple book you A) they’re close friends with a past couple and B) they met you at said past couple’s wedding and fell in love with your work. For example – Zak and Jill. You may remember my triple header weekend in the middle of the summer? It was the second wedding of the weekend when I had the pleasure of meeting these two. And it wasn’t long after that busy weekend that Jill emailed me inquiring about open dates I had for next summer. Want compliment C?! A bride picks a wedding date based on YOUR availability. FYI Photographers – anytime we talk about ideal Brides…here’s one for ya!
Not only do I love the way our relationship has kicked off, but I absolutely adore the start of Jill and Zak’s! They’re both teachers at Rittman School District and met at the beginning of last school year. Through numerous attempts on Jill’s part to get Zak to open up and be just as talkative as she is, one might have thought these two would never get anywhere. But little by little, Jill would find herself spending lunchtime with Zak talking about anything and everything. It wasn’t long until these two realized there was something special.
Within 9 months of knowing each other, Zak would ask Jill one of the most important questions he could ever ask. He planned a date night at Gervasi Vineyard in North Canton, and to Jill’s utter surprise, Zak got down on one knee. Even more surprised, Jill’s sister, Julie, was hiding out close by to capture the moment for the newly engaged couple!
So here we are. Sunday evening I was able to spend time with not only Jill and Zak but Jill’s one-year-old Golden Doodle, Charlie. This calm pup stole the show at the beginning, and tomorrow, you’ll get to see more photos of him! Jill is just as obsessed with her dog as I am I! More about Charlie tomorrow!
When Jill and Zak booked, we knew we wanted to take engagement photos during the fall. So we scheduled our session hoping that the date we choose would co-inside with fall colors. Thankfully, it did! So here we are, getting ready to show you Jill and Zak’s Petros Park fall engagement photos.
Petros is one of my favorite places to shoot at! It’s a quiet park in Stark county, but offers so much for my couples! I’m so excited to share with you today these Petros Park fall engagement photos! I know you’re going to love them!
Loren you did an amazing job photographing these two amazing kids! And I know they had a great time. Thank you for your beautiful creativity and capturing the love between these two.
