Hartville Ohio Engagement Photos
When Stephannie boarded her flight to Disney for a family vacation this past September, her partner-in-crime wasn’t by her side. David was unable to make the family vacation to the most magical place in the world because of work obligations. Or so Stephannie thought.
The first night in Florida, Stephannie and her family hit up their favorite spot at the Polynesian Resort – the ice cream stand. When asking for her favorite treat, Stephannie was handed a very special package. Inside the package was a wedding planning book and a note that said “If you’re interested in using this book at all, come to the spot marked on the map” So that’s what Stephannie did. When she arrived at that spot on the map, David was there waiting on one knee. David put so much thought into his surprise proposal that he even had a photographer there waiting to capture it all. I don’t know about you friends, but THAT is how you pull off a magical proposal at the most magical place on earth!
This past weekend while David and Stephannie were in Ohio for Thanksgiving, we met for their engagement photos in Hartville. Stephannie is a graduate of Lake High School, so Quail Hollow State Park and downtown Hartville are favorites for her. She wore a beautiful red lace dress that felt very festive! It was the perfect outfit since Stark Parks already had the house decorated for Christmas as the wreaths were hanging on the windows in the front of the house!
After photographing their Hartville Ohio engagement photos at Quail Hollow, we drove to the old train station in Downtown. The one train car said “Baltimore and Ohio” on it. Perfect for these two. Stephannie moved to Maryland last year for medical school, and it was in Maryland that she met David. What may have seem unlikely in the beginning, turned into something pretty spectacular for these two!
We’re less than ten months away till their wedding at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens next September and I’m so excited to share in their day with them! Until then, enjoy their Hartville Ohio engagement photos!
