My first September wedding. Fall flowers. Crab Apples in said flowers. A seven month St. Bernard. One heck of beautiful couple with an awesome love story!
After moving to Pittsburgh to complete her master’s degree, Taylor and Patrick met one evening during an outting of a mutual friends birthday party bash! As the story goes, according to Patricks best man and cousin, Anthony, that just about the time that Taylor is getting ready to walk into said party, Patrick makes a comment along the lines of he’s taking a break from dating. Little did he know that the Lord had bigger plans for him, and He would show Patrick that evening that his statement would be false.
Last September, we actually met in downtown Pittsburgh and did their engagement photos! Check them out here!
From that night on, Patrick and Taylor were inseperatable. Their love for each other was unlike anything they had ever experienced, and the rest is history.
That love led us to this past Saturday, September 5th 2015. Gathered with their wonderful family and incredible friends, Patrick and Taylor promised forever together. Taylor was reminded during the ceremony that Patrick would not only always be late to everything in life, but he will forever bleed Black and Gold (GO STEELERS!) I had to chuckle during the ceremony. The preacher is a raging Steelers fans (GO STEELERS), and when asked if there were any Steeler fans in the house, I heard one guest say “You’re in OHIO! There shouldn’t be any Steeler fans here.” I could make a couple smart remarks about that comment, but I’ll just let everyone else guess what I would had liked to say. 😉
Saturday was a warm one, but we had such a great time taking photos at Hoover park, across the street from Walsh University. Walsh holds a special place in Taylor’s heart. She graduated at Walsh in 2010, before later moving on to attening her master’s in Pittsburgh, and meeting the love of her life!
