Spring Wedding at the Barn at Mapleside Farm

April has been so stinking good to me this year! I finished off the month is a truly sweet couple, their hilarious friends, and their welcoming families!

Amanda and her bridesmaids began their day with hair and makeup in the home that Amanda grew up in. I arrived to a packed house right before lunch to begin photographing her details. One of the sweetest details included was a lace shaw from her grandma! If you know me, you know how much I love my grandma, so when I found the shaw in Amanda’s box of details, my heart melted a bit!

Once hair and makeup wrapped up, the girls hopped on the party bus, and off we went to Mapleside Farm! Once Amanda had a chance to take in the beginning stages of the beautiful setup, she stepped into the prettiest wedding gown. Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she knew what we all did – she was a real-life princess!

Just like any other wedding day, from this point on, the day moved so quickly! From a teary and joyful first look between Amanda and Kyle, to bridal portraits on the deck that had me giddy from the magic that was happening!

I will be forever grateful that couples exactly like Amanda and Kyle ask me to photograph their wedding days. They are sweet beyond words, have the biggest hearts, and trust the vision of their photographer! Mr. and Mrs. Fintel, here’s to the next five-plus decades loving each other, even when you’re sick of each other!
