Brookside Farm Summer Wedding
Oh, Brookside. How this rustic venue holds a dear place in my heart! This iconic rustic wedding venue in Northeast Ohio is so well known that it books more than 18 months out in advance for Saturdays. With everything that the Barn and property have to offer its couples, it’s hard not to understand the popularity of it.
Nikki and Bryce kicked off Jamie and I’s triple header wedding weekend for the holiday weekend. When we arrived, we met the girls at the bottom of the barn where they were getting all glammed up for the big day. I gathered the details and headed back to the original farm house where the girls would have their final preparations done. This beautiful house is the perfect location for the girls to finish getting dressed. We also discovered how wonderful the fence line at the house is for a first look.
Nikki walked out the back door of the sunroom to her awaiting groom around 2:45 on Friday. I’m not sure how Jamie and I got so lucky to have every wedding this past weekend share a first look. Their one of the most romantic parts of a wedding day. A time that the Bride and Groom can share alone without an audience, and a need to feel like they have to perform.
Because Nikki and Bryce shared a first look together, we had plenty of time to explore the many acres of Brookside Farm. After leaving the Farm House, we headed to the covered bridge. Those photos are some of my favorites. It’s not too often that my Brookside Brides have the opportunity to have photos taken at the covered bridge!
Before we knew it, it was time for Bridal Party photos at the barn, and then the anticipated ceremony held at the chapel. Nikki’s sweet grandfather walked her down the aisle, while the parents looked on with joyful tears in their eyes. While the chapel was focused on Nikki’s grand entrance, Bryce’s smile beamed from ear to ear. It was pretty clear on Friday how in love he is.
