Canton Garden Center and Downtown Canton Engagement Photos
It’s funny how one season of life can lead a person to new people in a new season of life.
Five years ago, I said good-bye to my first senior class that I ever taught. One of those students is the brother of this beautiful bride of mine. When Ian proposed to Michelle last year right before Christmas, Michael (my former student – Michelle’s brother) said he had the perfect wedding photographer.
Que Loren. 🙂
Without my days spent teaching, and quite frankly, just trying to stay one step in front of Michael and his three classmate’s shenanigans, my path with Michelle and Ian may have never crossed. And I am SO grateful for those paths crossing!
We were supposed to take photos at the Canton Garden Center and McKinley Monument on July 3rd. You know, the day before the biggest and best summer holiday EVER in America… Needless to say, on the fly, we decided to go to Downtown Canton for the second half of their photos since fireworks were being set off at the monument that evening.
This all worked out in our favor though. Because both locations were EMPTY of people! I wasn’t worried about someone in the background of Michelle and Ian’s beautiful photos! And beautiful they are!! These two were absolute rockstars in front of the camera! We laughed the whole evening together!
The photos I’m sharing with you are the ones that Michelle and Ian picked out themselves! These are the memories that they have ordered in an art form, and I can not wait to get their engagement session album in my hands! I loved our time together taking photos in Canton, but the time we spent that following weekend looking through all their photos together was the icing on the cake!
