After a glorious off-season filled with many to-do lists and countless hours spent on education, this past Saturday kicked off Wedding Season 2016! And friends, it started off with an absolute BANG! I sincerely hope Jon and Michelle’s Cleveland Ohio Wedding is a pre-cursor for how INCREDIBLE the rest of my wedding season is going to go! With a full season ahead, there’s so much potential for epic-ness!
My dear friend, Courtney, and I drove north with sunny skies beating down on our faces, and maneuvered our way to E 107th to University Circle Methodist Church where Jon and Michelle would say their “I Do’s” in just a couple short hours. The photos for the Church do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful. Churches are not built like this anymore, sadly. Greeted with warm smiles from the coordinators of the church, we scouted locations for picture perfect photos. When Courtney and I walked into the bridal room, I immediately noticed the gigantic windows that let in the most perfect natural light and my heart did it’s little pitter patter of joy.
That pitter patter would later turn into throbbing as Michelle and Jon did their first look, and Jon’s expression as he saw his soon-to-be wife was absolutely breathtaking and heartwarming. I love how first looks create an intimate moment for my couples that are entirely their own. No distractions, all their focus on the person the love the most. First looks don’t take away from “The Walk” down the aisle. If you don’t believe me, just wait till you see Jon’s reaction when he sees Michelle. It’ll melt your heart like it did mine!
Aside from the four seasons we literally experienced for this Cleveland Ohio Wedding, the day was perfect. The skies cleared long enough for us to venture outside to get shots with the Cleveland skyline, something that I know Jon and Michelle wanted so badly! I’m so happy Mother Nature was nice to us long enough for that to happen.
Friends I’m so excited to share with you my first wedding of 2016. This Cleveland Ohio Wedding is one for the books.

I can’t get enough of that window during the prep, but my favorite part? Definitely that they had the past wedding dresses there. I’ve never seen that and I LOVE it!
