Downtown Canton Ohio Engagement Photos
It was their shared love of music that Kasie and Brad met on the first day of a new semester at Malone University in Canton Ohio. Brad, still to this day, does not remember the first time he and Kasie met, but true to our nature, a woman never forgets the first time she lays eyes on the man of her dreams. (12 years later, I can still tell you the first time I ever saw Josh! Maybe that’s why I have a thing for him in a baseball hat…)
The Music Majors and Minors had a quick informational meeting that first day, and when told to introduce themselves to those around them, Kasie and Brad shook hands. Although Brad does not remember meeting Kasie on this day (Sorry Brad, for the next 7 decades, Kasie will never let you forget this!), those instant butterflies started fluttering in Kasie’s stomach! It would take a couple more weeks for Brad to finally recognize Kasie. Thank goodness for Apples to Apples and Fall Choir Retreats!
A couple months later, Brad and Kasie would make it official and began dating in May. A year and a half after that, Brad would propose in downtown Hudson by their gigantic Christmas tree. Even though Kasie knew Brad was getting ready to propose that day, the emotions overcame her, and with the happiest of tears in her eyes, she, of course(!), said YES!
So here we are. 2019, less than five months away from their big day at Country Cottage in Minvera. I’ve already been warned that Kasie loves to dance and will be the first one cutting up the floor once the real party gets started!
Kasie and Brad – thank you for a wonderful evening walking around Downtown Canton with you! Even with the chilly temperatures – let’s be real, for January, that evening could have been considered a heatwave, I think it’s safe to say we had the best time together!
