Everett Road Covered Bridge Engagement Photos
I love photographing in the early spring and late fall. Right before the trees have their canopy of leave, and right after most of that canopy falls to the earth. The light that comes through bare tree trucks is absolute magic! And on Monday evening, we saw that magical light happened at Everett Road Covered Bridge for Stephanie and Andrew’s engagement photos!
In Northeast Ohio, we’re fortunate to have the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in our backyard. The Park is so well kept and always beautiful! Everett Road Covered Bridge is certainly no exception. When I was emailing with Andrew about possible locations for their engagement photos, they mentioned they really liked Everett Road. This is one of my favorite spots in Northeast Ohio, but to get the best possible photos here, it requires getting wet and crossing the low river. Andrew assured me he and Stephanie were up for the adventure.
I knew we were going to have a great evening for photos as I drove from Massillon to Peninsula. It was warm, the wind was calm, and the clouds were sporadic enough that I had this feeling deep in my gut, the light was going to be just perfect. Well, I certainly wasn’t wrong! In the hour and a half the three of us spent together, I think I spent 90% of the time squealing.
My favorite part of Stephanie and Andrew’s engagement session at Everett Road Covered Bridge was when we crossed the river and headed to the middle where it was a rock bed. From there, we had the best view of the covered bridge, and where most of my favorite images came from!
I’m so excited to share with you this Everett Road Covered Bridge engagement session! I know you’re going to absolutely love it! Pay particular attention to Stephanie’s gorgeous engagement ring! The center stone was Andrew’s grandmas! It is also Stephanie’s birthstone! JAW DROPPING!!!
