In the last five years, I’ve been able to photograph beautiful weddings in beautiful venues! If I’m 100% honest, when a Bride emails and mentions she’s getting married at one of these Northeast Ohio Wedding Venues, I do a happy dance, I literally do the “spirit fingers” and squeal.
Each of these venues has a beautiful and iconic backdrop for a wedding day.
Loren’s Favorite Northeast Ohio Wedding Venues
Brookside Farm
Brookside Farm in Louisville – the first Northeast Ohio wedding venue that made me feel like the big time! Since 2013, I’ve been able to photograph at least three weddings a year at this iconic property! Brookside Farm is the Godfather of rustic wedding venues in Northeast Ohio! They paved the way for the other barns.

Barn at the Meadows
October 2016, I photographed my first wedding at the Barn at the Meadows. I haven’t been back since, but I’m dying to shoot here more in the future. I love the T-shape of the barn; it makes for a beautiful space for a wedding ceremony.
Rivercrest Farms
If a Bride is looking to looking to get married on a functioning farm, with all kinds of farm animals to share on her wedding day, Rivercrest Farm is the venue for her! Each time I’ve been at Rivercrest, I’ve been greeted by a goat and chatted with the horses and cows.
Stan Hywet
In 2015, I had the pleasure of photographing my first Stan Hywet Wedding. Danielle and Mike’s wedding day was beautiful, and I’m looking forward to being back twice in 2017! This history nerd loves the agriculture of the estate and how beautiful the grounds are.
The Grand Barn
“My” wedding venue. I say “my” because this is the venue where Josh and I got married July 2014. This venue will always hold a special place in my heart, and it’s always a joy to share a wedding day with one of my couples at The Grand Barn.
Windows on the River
This beautiful Cleveland wedding venue was on my bucket list last year. April of 2016, I photographed Michelle and Jon’s wedding reception at Windows on the River. If you know me well, you know I love the country, open wheat fields, and a gorgeous barn, but huge windows, exposed brick, and a city skyline take my breath away!
Favorite Northeast Ohio Wedding Venues on Loren’s Bucket List
Last year I talked about my Bucket List Northeast Ohio Wedding venues, and while some of the venues have been crossed off the list, or will be after this year, I have a handful of new ones that I look forward to the opportunity of photographing a wedding day at soon.
Columbia Woodlands
This brand spanking new venue south of Canton is a show stopper! Columbia Woodlands is an elegant rustic barn that can be decorated any way a Bride chooses, and the wedding would look straight out of a magazine.
Gervasi
Oh, Gervasi! This beautiful winery has been a dream of mine since I started photographing weddings. 2012 Loren thought that when she booked a wedding at this venue, it would mean she was hot stuff. 2017 Loren chuckles at her now. 2015 brought a lot of awesome changes for my business, one of them being my Promo Video that was actually shot at Gervasi (photo from that below!) This wedding season; I have the pleasure of spending at least three days with three incredible couples that I adore so very much.
Glenmoor Country Club
Glenmoor Country Club is where I will be ringing out 2017 and ringing in 2018! There are so many things I love about this venue, but the fact that it reminds me of a castle in the inside is at the top of the list!
MAPS
Remember how I’ve mentioned I taught High School Social Studies for three years? And that I’m a huge nerd when it comes to History. I may just die if I ever book a wedding a MAPS at the Akron-Canton Airport.
The Arcade
Oh, the Arcade. This gem of Cleveland wedding venues holds so much history and has many stories to tell. It was the first indoor shopping mall and held the 1895 Republican National Convention the year William McKinley was elected President. The Arcade of Cleveland is truly a unique Northeast Ohio wedding venue.
The Barn on Enchanted Acres
Another new venue to Northeast Ohio, 2016 was the first year for the Barn on Enchanted Acres. The owner of this rustic wedding venue put a lot of thought into decorating the Barn, so Bride’s don’t have to.
The Club at Hillbrook
Something about old mansions absolutely excites my soul and makes my heart race. I love the grounds of this Northeast Ohio wedding venue and would need at least two hours with a Bride and Groom for photos because of everywhere I would want to shoot. ENDLESS possibilities with the Club at Hillbrook!
The Old Courthouse
My favorite florist books a lot of weddings at this Cleveland wedding venue, and I’m itching to shoot a wedding she has here! Every time I hear Bouquet Studio is at the Old Courthouse, I dream of the day I book a wedding at this iconic spot!
Water’s Edge
Water’s Edge in Louisville has a couple of options for a reception venue. My favorite space is the Great Hall. The tall ceilings and white walls provide a clean space that allows a couple to make the site anything they want it to me. It’s like a blank canvas. The grounds are just as beautiful, and Water’s Edge provides multiple options for an outside ceremony.
