Fall Intimate Wedding at Stan Hywet
Stanley and Megan wanted an intimate yet timeless wedding day on September 17th, 2019. They choose to get married in the English Garden at Stan Hywet. With their closest friends and family in attendance, they tearfully said their vows.
Megan found her simple, yet extremely elegant dress online just a few weeks before her and Stanley married. She wanted a white dress, but one that wasn’t a traditional wedding gown and I think we can all agree, she found the perfect one! Megan looked incredible in this simple dress! Like it was made for her!
After their ceremony, they took photos with their loved ones that were in attendance. Followed by walking around the grounds of Stan Hywet on a warm September evening.
When a couple gets married at Stan Hywet, there are a few iconic spots that must be photographed. My top spots are always the English Garden, Birch Tree Allee, and the Great Garden. There’s a section there in the Great Garden that is referred to as the Rose Garden that has a beautiful view of the side of the manor. That particular spot is where Megan, Stanley, Jamie, and I finished our evening together!
This intimate Stan Hywet wedding came at the beginning of the fall busy season and it was such a wonderful change of pace. It was sweet to see a simple wedding that focused on just the couple and the love that is shared between them.
Thank you, Megan and Stanley, for allowing Jamie and me there to photograph this special day for you!
A bit shout out to Rachel Lorrain Artistry for doing Megan’s makeup! What a stunning job!
