Rustic Fall Wedding
When you grow up farming, it only makes sense to get married on a farm your family owns! And that’s precisely what Josh and Danielle did. Ever since he was small, Josh was in the fields with his dad. When he met Danielle, he quickly had a new farming companion. Josh would propose to Danielle, making the poor girl climb the side of a silo – facing her fear of heights, with the words “will you” carved out in a field. He finished the question when Danielle nervously looked down at Josh who was just a couple rungs below her.
With how much these two enjoy spending time on the farm together, it only made sense to begin their marriage on the farm. Josh’s dad bought the farm right beside their home in 2012. While it may have never been part of the plan in the beginning, this once true “farm barn” was transformed this past summer into a beautiful new venue for weddings. Danielle decorated the inside of the barn with jars and yellow flowers that looked like they were picked right out of the field in the back.
Just across the street from the beautifully restored barn, in a big open field, Josh and Danielle would become husband and wife. Surrounded by their friends and family, Danielle made the walk down the aisle with her daddy by her side, smiling ear to ear at the sight of her groom – who had big ole’ tears in his eyes. Danielle looked absolutely stunning in her lace gown that it didn’t take a rocket scientist to know why Josh teared up.
I’m beyond excited for what the future holds for Josh and Danielle. Not too many women in today’s age would embrace what it means to be a farmer’s wife, but Danielle has done more than just embrace the lifestyle. She has become it. Josh is one lucky man to have such loving support by his side for the rest of his life!
Loren,
I would like to order a parents album from Josh and Danielle’s pictures.
