Spring House Farm Wedding
Windy roads, rows and rows of corn, and a gorgeous rustic wedding venue beautifully built in the Pathe Valley of the Appalachian chain. Saturday was a hot day for this Spring House Farm wedding, but there was a cool breeze coming off the ridge into the valley and enough puffy white clouds that gave us cloud cover for our portrait time. If you know anything about photography, you’ll know how happy and relieved I was for that natural diffuser.
Heather, my #KNPSister from New Jersey, and I arrived to the Spring House Farm early to scope out the location and get the creative juices following. I was already excited about this wedding venue just from the couple of photos I saw on Facebook and from what Danielle told me about, but honestly, none of it did this rustic wedding venue in Pathe Valley justice. The open fields, rolling hills, original farm house, and bankbarn with field stone foundation is a rustic bride’s DREAM for her wedding day!
Danielle spent Saturday morning getting ready for her wedding day in the Spring House. She greeted Heather and I with an excited smile and warm hug. Like all LJBrides, they know once I arrive, the fun is about to start! We gathered Danielle’s details and began doing what we do best. Bless Danielle’s heart, she asked her florist for extra stems so I could stylized her details. Her wonderful florist, Summer Thyme Florals, graciously granted Danielle’s request and admitted she was rather surprised by the it. I’m so thankful Danielle asked because these details are TO DIE FOR!!!
Everything about this beautiful Spring House Farm wedding was perfect. Danielle’s champagne tulle wedding dress, her wildflower bouquet, and of course the teary eyed first look. Danielle and Chad were a couple who immediately loved the idea of sharing a first look with one another. They knew they would be able to have more photos taken just the two of them and they would spend most of their wedding day TOGETHER instead of apart.
The walk down the aisle was a joyous walk for Danielle and her father. The butterflies in her belly were those of excitement as she was about to marry Chad. Overlooking the valley, Chad and Danielle promised forever to each other in front of their families and closest friends.
The day ended with guests playing yard games, or gathering under the overhang listening to their favorite country music songs. I’m so honored and blessed to have Brides who ask me to travel for their wedding! I loved spending time in PA shooting this gorgeous Spring House Farm wedding!
