Sunny Hill Fall Wedding
You know how much a couple is loved just by the toasts given at dinner. Hannah’s two maids of honors and Josh’s best man (along with Hannah’s sweet daddy) all had the most beautiful words to describe Hannah and Josh as not only individuals but also as a couple. Hannah is the loud goofy one, while Josh is the quiet more reserved, but as one of Hannah’s maid of honors said, they compliment each other so well. And you’ll quickly see just how well in these photos!
This past weekend, Ohio experienced the remnants of Hurricane Gordan. I’m quickly not becoming a fan of hurricanes around my birthday! Last year, it was Hurricane Irma that ruined my babymoon in Disney World, this year it was Gordan that soaked Ohio for two and a half days. Luckily for us, the rains were light enough on Saturday, that you really can not tell it was raining during portrait time!
Hannah and Josh were married at St. Francis De Sales. Josh and his siblings attended school here, and his mom is also the librarian. For obvious reasons, this church is extra special to the Masters, and now to Hannah, as well.
The reception was held at Sunny Hill Golf Course’s new wedding venue. The owner built this venue specifically for this children’s wedding. Josh had a hand in the construction of the venue, and he and Hannah knew that when the time came, they wanted their celebration held at Sunny Hill, as well. But don’t fear Brides-to-be, rumor has it this venue is opening up to the public Spring of 2019! The venue has enough space for up to 300 people, as a gorgeous concrete patio for a ceremony location, and features two beautiful stone fireplaces. My favorite part though had to be the garage doors! Lucky for me, they provided the perfect backdrop for photos on this rainy wedding day!
You’ll have to let me know in the comments if you can tell it was raining all day! I think the rain actually added the perfect touch for Josh and Hannah. After all, rain on a wedding day is good luck! Congratulation, Masters!! It was such an honor to spend the day with you both, and your friends and kind family!!
