Austin + Sydney’s Warm and Rustic November Wedding

Prior to being a full time wedding photographer, I was a high school social studies teacher. I thought my contribution to this world was educating young adults. I would teach them the importance of civics, how to manage their investments, and what the power keg was.

My very first year of teaching, I met this kind and caring senior. She had an infectious laugh and always asked how my morning was going. I can never recall a time that she didn’t have a smile on her face.

That sweet girl became a wife on Saturday and my former life collided with my present.

My social media clued me in on the day when Austin proposed to Sydney. My sweet, always happy, always caring for everyone else, Sydney was going to begin planning her wedding day! I would be lying if I said I didn’t immediately want to reach through my phone and give her the biggest hug!

When I got THE email – you know – the one asking if I would be their wedding photographer, I had to hold back the tears. Sydney would be my first student turned bride and I couldn’t help but admire the importance that meant.

It would be two years from that first “will you be my wedding photographer” email to Sydney and Austin’s wedding day at The Barn on Enchanted Acres. When the big day arrived, I couldn’t wait to start this day with the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Klein!

If you know these two at all, you know their day was filled with laughter. Sydney never stopped smiling – even through her tears, her infectious smile never left her face. It’s clear these two are going to live a long happy, life together. Austin makes Sydney beam from ear to ear. Happiness just comes easy for these two.
