A Late Fall Cleveland Ohio Wedding

When Morgan and Rob met half a decade ago at Westwood Country Club, they were in college. Morgan a server, Rob a busser, for couples having their own weddings at the Club.

Funny how life comes full circle sometime.

On (a chilly) Saturday, November 21st, Jamie and I drove an hour and a half north to Morgan and Rob’s home. When we arrived, the house was so full of joy. Morgan had already decorated for Christmas, stockings were hung with care, the tree was decorated, and shelves hanging on the walls where wrapped in kraft paper with red stripes.

Morgan and Rob had quite the journey getting to this day. They were originally planning on celebrating their marriage on June 27th. At this point in the year, however, I’m sure you know how the story goes. A world pandemic arrives in March, and couples everywhere begin pivoting their plans and changing up their dreams.

Plan B for Rob and Morgan probably turned into Plan Q by the end of the night, and while November 21st didn’t look anything like June 27th should have looked, one thing did still happened – these two said their vows and became Husband and Wife.

I’m so grateful that my path with Rob and Morgan crossed theirs, and I had the honor of spending Saturday with them. It takes a special type of person to be as calm, relaxed, and go with the flow that I witnessed this past weekend. Always smiling, Morgan just wanted to be Rob’s wife, and have beautiful photos to cherish.
