Last Monday we talked about what brides need to do the week of the wedding, so this week, let’s talk about what NOT to do the week of the wedding!
The week of the wedding you spend completing last minute tasks, running small errands, pampering yourself, packing your bags, but what are the things that Bride should NOT being the week of the wedding? Here’s a list of the first couple that pop in my head!
What NOT to do the Week of the Wedding
- Do NOT going tanning EVERY day
- Do NOT switch up lotions, laundry detergent, makeup
- Do NOT use new facial cleansers
- Do NOT make any HUGE last minute changes to your timeline
- Do NOT go Bridezilla on your Mom, soon-to-be Husband, Bridesmaids, and anyone else who asks how you’re feeling and if you need help
- Do NOT get a haircut
- Do NOT wait until the last minute to write your vows…like Joshua and I did.
- Do NOT forget to pack your Bridal Bag
- Do NOT do any crazy landscaping
- Do NOT go outside without some kind of SPF on your skin!
- Do NOT over do yourself in the gym trying to lose those last five pounds. I promise, you look beautiful
- Do NOT ingest copious amounts of salt/sodium. But DO drink lots of water
- Do NOT deprive your body of sleep because your to-do list is a five miles long
- Do NOT wash your hair the morning of your wedding. Do it 24 hours before!
- Most importantly…DO NOT STRESS!!
Your wedding day is going to be PERFECT! Have faith in that! You have planned the last 6-18 months for this day, and it’s going to be a dream come true. Just follow this list of what not to do the week of the wedding and the big day is going to go off without a hitch! Most importantly, pay close attention to number 15, and ALWAYS remember it!
