Winter Engagement Photos at Petros Park
I can not remember the last time that my camera got this kind of a workout in January! Three engagement sessions in a week span, a wedding tomorrow during a snow storm this past weekend, and another engagement session before the month is over!
Who says January is “off-season?”
Kaylee and Zach are getting married at my most favorite venue – The Grand Barn at the Mohicans. It’s where Josh and I got married. So you can only imagine my excitement when I get to go back for other wedding days! It’s like reliving my own wedding day again! (It’ll be five years this July since Josh and I got married! HOLY SMOKES!!)
Last week we met at Petros Park. One of my most favorite parks in the Stark Parks system! Unlike any other session I have photographed at Petros though, this one had snow. And lots of it! Normally my background is green or bright colors of yellow and red from the leaves changing in the autumn. But on last Wednesday, my favorite fields were graced with the beauty of snow.
Our fingers were cold, toes numb, and Zach and Kaylee were about 30 seconds away from their lips freezing together with their next kiss, but it was all so worth it. I’m so grateful for these two and braving the cold temperatures to so we could create some beautiful photos for them before their wedding day in just a few short months!
I have so many favorites from our quick 45 minutes out in the cold, I’m not sure how I narrowed down the photos to show what I am! I love how Kaylee and Zach’s jackets compliment each other so well. They simply POP off the background in all of their photos!!
Until May my friends!! Enjoy this season of life! It’ll be over before you know it!!
