Porsha + Tom
Last October, Tom and Porsha were on a vacation in the Smokey Mountains. After spending the day hiking a 5000-grade elevation, Tom got down on one knee and asked Porsha to be his wife! I can only imagine the scenery that surrounded these two and she said YES! If it was me, I would have said “Yes” while trying to catch my breath from the excitement AND the hike!
After the first of the year, Porsha and I connected for a second time since Tom’s adventurous proposal. There was finally light at the end of the tunnel for Porsha in her medical degree, and she was ready to begin crossing things off her wedding to-do list.
Here we are, seven months after chatting for a second time, sharing some of their beautiful engagement photos! Almost to the Ohio-Pennsylvania line sits a beautiful farmhouse and several acres that have been in Tom’s family for decades now. It was no brainer for these two to spend an evening having their engagement photos taken there.
Tom grew up visiting his grandparents at the farm, hunting with his family, and I would imagine sledding down the hill from the farmhouse! It’s quite the hill and would carry a kiddo on a sled for several hundred feet depending on one’s starting point!
Porsha and Tom are forming their own special memories now on the farm. From picking blueberries in the summer to relaxing outside while the summer breeze blows on by. And now, having engagement photos taken on the old property! One day, they’ll be able to share these memories with their children! Talk about a true family heirloom!
Tom and Porsha – thank you for the time we have spent together so far! I’m so impressed you were able to narrow down all those photos to these 20! What an amazing 20 you have though!!
