Joe + Dana | Final Fieldcrest Estates Wedding

10 am on Saturday morning, Jamie and I walked out of a cold and rainy morning in Northeast Ohio and teleported to a beach house! Not really (how fun would that have been?!), but it did feel that way!

Dana found a cute Air BnB on Portage Lakes for her, her bridesmaids, and moms to get ready at! It was beautifully decorated, helping us forget the dreary weather that was Saturday morning with the bright decor that filled the space.

Dana and Joe’s wedding ceremony at St. Francis de Sales just around the corner promptly started at 11 am. Unlike most wedding days that have a slow start, morning events started right away! We arrived, Dana stepped into her dress, had a sweet first look with her daddy, then we were off to the church!

It was WEDDING TIME!! Dana was beyond ready to see her handsome (almost) husband! Vows were exchanged and sealed with a kiss. Soon we would be off to Fieldcrest Estate for the biggest party these two will ever throw!

One Last Wedding…

Once owned by the infamous North Canton Hoover family, Fieldcrest Estate is an impressive property. Currently, the property features 50 acres, the original home, Lodge, Inn, Dairy Barn, and Coop house. Fieldcrest Estate was known for its Sunday and Holiday brunches. Sadly, Dana and Joe’s wedding was the final wedding Fieldcrest Estate may ever see.

The biggest perk to the 11 am ceremony on Saturday was the full hour of relaxed portrait time Jamie and I had with the newlyweds. We ventured down the driveway, stood in front of the impressive barn, featured the Inn that many famous people have laid their head, and even found the prettiest spot for final photos.

We nearly finished our time with photos until Jamie spotted a location and asked for just a couple more minutes. Thank goodness she did, but those photos are some of my favorites! They remind us of a beautiful Georgia Plantation wedding!

What a joy it was spending the day with Dana and Joe and their family and friends! Everyone was so welcoming and warm. We had plenty of laughs with the groomsmen, and even more eyerolls with the bridesmaids before laughing at the groomsmen!
