Everyone is familiar with TheKnot.com and WeddingWire.com. Five years ago when I was planning my wedding, I created my Knot account and even found our wedding venue and videographer from The Knot.
Brides create accounts and not only look at the inspiration for their wedding day, but can also look at thousands of vendors who have paid a lot of money to list their services there. Thousands of vendors. With no idea if the vendors they’re looking at meet any of their criteria. Like a budget, style, and what’s included in the investment.
Vendors create their storefronts, hoping the advertising will bring in qualified leads. Some vendors have huge success with these sites. Other vendors are just one in a hundred listed, lost in the sea of wedding professionals.
But what if I told you, with a brand new platform coming to Northeast Ohio, Brides and Vendors alike will be able to find the perfect fit for wedding days?!
An Email from the Co-Founder
When I received an email from the co-founder, Kaleigh, I honestly thought it was spam. But I set up my phone call with her to hear more about this idea pitch.
We chatted. And then I got excited. Very excited!!
The best way to explain this new platform is if TheKnot and Match.com were mashed together and a website was created.
With Flutter Social, Brides are able to put in their wedding needs and through algorithms, they are MATCHED with qualified vendors! THEN, when a Bride books a vendor, she is able to see other vendors that Vendor A has worked with, in the past. Allowing the Bride to have a top-notch experience!
