The Grand Barn Rainy Summer Wedding | Andrew + Heather

The Grand Barn is a wedding venue that photos simply can not do it justice.  It’s a one of a kind rustic venue that turns any wedding into a real fairy tale wedding.  Trees are literally coming out of the venue, and you can’t get more in the country than you are with the Grand Barn.  Guests wonder if they’re lost when they turn onto the one lane dirt road (if you can even call it that) and head towards the venue.  You’re immediately in awe when you turn onto the drive and almost immediately greeted by a brand new treehouse still in the process of being built this summer.  All within eyesight of this marvelous barn are three treehouses.  All unique and beautifully made.  And all available for the Bride and Groom to spend their wedding night in if they choose.

When I received Heather’s email stating she was getting married at the Barn, I was overjoyed!  Three years ago I married my best friend at the Grand Barn at the Mohicans, and it was the best day of my life.  I knew Heather and Andrew made such an incredible decision booking this one of a kind rustic venue for their big day!

When I arrived Saturday morning, Heather was in the chair getting ready for the big day.  Events moved along quickly from that point on.  Before she knew, she was in her wedding dress and on her way to see Andrew for their first look.

We dodged some rain drops throughout the morning, and at one point, what seemed like a monsoon, but the skies opened up just in time for the ceremony to be held on the back patio.  The patio is the perfect spot for the wedding ceremony at the Grand Barn.  You overlook the Mohican State Park, the beautifully constructed decks are to your back, and one tree house to each of your sides.  I can’t think of a more unique ceremony location in the vast state of Ohio than what the Grand Barn offers their couples!

Congratulations Andrew and Heather!  It was such a joy to spend the day with you!  And I loved being able to share the experience of being a “Grand Barn Bride” with you!!  You’ll spend the rest of your marriage reminiscing over how beautiful your day was!
