Iconic Ohio Wedding Venues
Every year when I write my business plan, I think of venues that I haven’t had the pleasure to work at yet, and dream (maybe plan is a better word here) of ways to make that happen. I think it’s good for the soul to get out there, photograph at new places. It keeps things fresh. It’s too easy to get complacent and stuck in ruts when you’re at the same venues time and time again. It’s so refreshing to see something with new eyes!
I wanted to put together a list of venues that I’ve had my eye (and my heart) on the last few years, but also new venues that I’ dying to photograph a wedding at!
Here are 11 wedding venues in Northeast Ohio that are simply stunning. These are venues that dreams are made of for photographers! Venues that would make any Bride’s wedding day extra special with their charm and character!
I’m such a sucker for old mansions that look like they belong in Europe! The Club at Hillbrook is just that!!
When I first saw Kingwood Garden Center, I immediately pictured a home of a president during the 1700/1800s. A beautiful plantation that really should be in Virginia, inspired by an iconic estate in the countryside of France. My history teacher heart about burst into a million pieces.
Hello, romantic fairytale!! 😍Bella Amore, the sister venue to the Barn on Enchanted Acres, is going into their second wedding season and is booked solid!! Somehow I got lucky and booked a 2020 wedding at this venue that I’m beyond excited for!
Rustic Elegance at it’s finest! This venue ranks right up there with the Grand Barn for Brides that want a rustic wedding without the traditional bank barn!
Want a venue with A LOT of historical charm? Look no further than the Arcade in Cleveland! I have had the pleasure of photographing a couple of engagement sessions here, but I have never had the opportunity to photograph a full wedding day! I know my time is coming, though!!
TALL ceilings, wide open, gorgeous natural light, CLEAN space! The simplicity that the Cleveland Art Museum offers makes this one of my favorites on my bucket list for Northeast Ohio wedding venues!

HELLO HISTORY NERDS!!! How cool would it be to celebrate your new marriage with Dinosaurs surrounding you?! I know this space isn’t for everyone, but I would die a happy photographer if I had the opportunity just once to photograph a wedding at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History!
Are you noticing a trend yet with some of these wedding venues in Northeast Ohio? Brick, charm and charactor, historical? The Glidden House is no different!! I can only imagine how beautiful the ceremony would be outside in their garden and an elegant reception inside!
I’m a sucker for well-designed landscape and gardens! The Cleveland Botanical Garden is no exception with the beauty it holds!! After all, look at this gorgeous painting that Jacqueline DelBrocco painted there recently!!! (Insert alllllll the heart eyes!!!!)
Hellloooooo industrial space!!! Look at that brick and the natural light, and the tall ceilings!!! Maybe it’s because the lower portion of Northeast Ohio doesn’t have a venue like this, but I would die a happy photographer getting to photograph a wedding at Tenk West Bank in Cleveland!
Give me allllllllll the white space!! Funny how having a beautiful blank space sets my soul on fire just as much, if not more, as having a venue with a ton of character and charm!
