In the Woods Wedding | Lee + Taylor

It’s always fun when Jamie and I have the opportunity to photograph a couple’s wedding day at a new venue. As we were creeping down the gravel driveway at In the Woods, I wasn’t entirely sure we were in the right spot. Even though my trusty Google Maps app said “You’ve arrived at your destination.”

I put my car in park, grabbed my gear, and headed in the general direction that I was told Taylor was. I walked into the getting ready space as Doreen was finishing up Taylor’s makeup. This sweet bride of mine was a ball of nerves. Lucky for her (and me, and her bridesmaids), Taylor and Lee decided to do a first look. As soon as Taylor was in Lee’s arms, her body language immediately changed. You could see the anxious emotions escape her body as she leaned into her soon-to-be husband!

The team at In the Woods did a wonderful job setting up Taylor and Lee’s ceremony site and I could immediately see the vision. Thankfully, we had beautiful weather for their outdoor ceremony on Saturday! Underneath a canopy of trees, surrounded by the closest friends and family, these two vowed to love each other and to always pick up after eachothers coffee mugs.
