Petros Park Spring Engagement Photos
This particular bride holds a special place in my heart. During college, I decided to make the move back to the service industry and apply at Quaker Steak and Lube. If you’ve ever been a server or bartender, you know all about the fast cash and “easy” work. I say easy, but overall, serving isn’t hard. It doesn’t take much brain power to remember a tables drink order and bring their food out before it sat in the window too long. You know – the plate is piping hot, but the food is cold.
Anyways, that’s how I met this sweet bride. Trish was already working at QS&L, and if I recall correctly, she may have even had a hand in training me. We spent many Tuesday’s together running around serving wings, Wednesdays laughing with the bikes, and Saturday and Sundays cheering on our football teams with our tables.
When Matt proposed to Trish, she reached out and to say I was honored would be an understatement. We were finally able to line up our hectic schedules to meet for a consult. The honor came once again when they asked me to photograph their wedding.
We spent an evening together just a couple weeks ago at one of my favorite locations – Petros Park in Perry Township. The fields were still a bit wet from the amount of rain we saw in the month of May, but the GLOW of the sun that evening – allllll the heart eyes!
Just like we realized after wrapping up photos, September 7th will be here before we know it. Matt and Trish are getting married at the Quarry, and I’m beyond excited to see how the utilize the patio for their dance floor. Let’s all start our weather dancing now and ask Mother Nature for gorgeous weather!
