I first met Zak and Jill at Brooke and Jordan’s Country Cottage wedding last summer. They were newly engaged and I remember chatting about possible dates they were considering having their wedding. Because Zak and Jill are both teachers, they were considering June and December. I’ll forever be grateful they choose June. And they picked a truly beautiful day in June to get married!
Rivercrest Farm in Dover was the backdrop for this beautiful summer wedding. The property has been family owned and operated since the 1940s! It’s a rustic charm for the area, one that Brides flock to for their wedding day. It’s not hard to see what Jill was so excited to marry Zak at Rivercrest Farm. The view alone for the ceremony was breathtaking – upon a hill, overlooking Tuscarawas County.
From a tearful first look shared between Jill and Zak to laughs had during the ceremony when the donkeys congratulated the newlyweds, I’m not sure if this day could have been anymore perfect. I knew when I saw Zak reading Jill’s letter she wrote for him that the first look was going to be exactly what every Bride dreams it’ll be. I have been so blessed these last two years to have those “Pinterest worthy” reactions. It sure leaves a girl hiding behind her camera with tears in her own eyes, though!
Congratulations Zak and Jill! It was such a joy spending Friday with you and your families!! That ice cream was DELICIOUS, and the perfect personal touch for your day! I hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon in Antigua!!
