Sunset Pittsburgh Engagement Session

Anna & Adam

Nine years, countless memories, and one beautiful city to call their own. Anna and Adam’s Pittsburgh engagement session was nothing short of magical—and the perfect reflection of their love story.

These two are originally from Northeast Ohio, but their relationship has taken them through long-distance love and eventually to Pittsburgh, where they’ve built a life together. When we started planning their engagement session, they knew immediately that they wanted the city they love so much to play a starring role in their photos.

We kicked off the evening at Heinz Field, which, to any true fan, will always be Heinz Field! We made our way to Gate C, with the golden hour light pouring in at Gate A, giving us the kind of dreamy, glowy images photographers live for. Anna and Adam even brought their Terrible Towels—a fun little nod to the city that has become their home.

From there, we took a leisurely stroll along the river to PNC Park, chatting about their 2026 wedding at Gervasi Vineyard, their life in Pittsburgh, and their future dreams. I love these quiet in-between moments during engagement sessions—where the laughter, conversation, and genuine connection shine through.

The Clemente Bridge was next on our list, and it absolutely delivered. With light traffic and the city skyline glowing behind them, we were able to create some truly timeless photos. The yellow bridge, the architecture of downtown Pittsburgh, and the way these two just fell into step with each other—it all came together perfectly.

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, we hustled to Mount Washington for one final stop. The city lights slowly flickered to life, and for just a few minutes, the sky turned into the most breathtaking backdrop of soft pinks and warm golds. Photographing Anna and Adam overlooking the skyline felt like the perfect ending to their story in the city.

I’m already counting down the months until I get to photograph these two again at Gervasi Vineyard next June. But for now, I’m soaking in every magical moment from their Pittsburgh engagement session!

If you’ve ever dreamed of capturing your engagement photos in a city you love—whether that’s Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or somewhere entirely new—I’d love to help you tell your story in a way that’s meaningful and timeless.
