Back in February, I put out a model call for an engagement session. Nearly 200 brides from all over the state applied for that call. Needless to say, choosing a winner was no easy task! So hard, that I choose two!
The first up on today’s blog post, Lauren and Kevin!
We were originally planning on shooting the engagement session in Mansfield at Kingwood Center Gardens on May 4th. But May 4th was a disaster of a day. It was gorgeous the day before, but cold, windy, and rainy that day. Go figure, right. The rest of the month of May was insane for me, so the first of two sessions were pushed back until just the other week!
I knew when I first put out the model call that I had a very specific look I was going for. Soft, romantic, timeless. Professional hair and makeup to showcase how that just adds a whole other level of romance to the photos! Exactly how I want my brand to be represented.
Friends – Lauren and Kevin NAILED it!! Lauren’s long flowy dress. Kevin’s navy blue plants that compliment the dress so well. Wait until you see Kevin’s TIE!! OH EM GE!!! I loved this little detail that Lauren thought of!!
I can’t thank these two enough for being so flexible with the schedule! It’s been a difficult spring with all the rain we’ve had in Northeast Ohio. But thankfully Zoar Village and Garden was kind to us. And Mother Nature gave us the dreamiest light at the end of our time together!!
*A big shout out to Rachel Lorraine Artistry for her time and talent on this engagement session in Zoar Village! She’s the master behind Lauren’s hair and makeup!
